Competition Terms and Conditions

These competition Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other Jewellery Doctor communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Please retain a copy for your information.

If any of these Jewellery Doctor competition clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions, and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

Competition Entry

The competition information indicates the opening and closing dates and times for entries. Entries received before the opening date and after the closing date will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.

In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the correctness or acceptability of the entry or any answers given by entrants (if applicable), or the operation of any part of the competition, the decision of Jewellery Doctor shall be final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.

If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs that is beyond the reasonable control of the Jewellery Doctor and prevents the Jewellery Doctor from complying with these terms and conditions, the Jewellery Doctor will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its competition commitments.

Eligibility

The competition is open to people over 18 and residents of the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, and Isle of White, excluding employees and their immediate families' Jewellery Doctor.

Competition Prize

The prize is as specified in the competition information.

The winner will be chosen randomly within one month of the prize draw or competition ending.

The prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable; no cash alternative will be offered.

Jewellery Doctor’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. Competition entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Jewellery Doctor reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Competition in whole or in part at its sole discretion.

The competition winner will be notified by email or telephone using the contact details provided at the time of entry. They must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond to Jewellery Doctor within 14 days of being notified, their prize will be forfeited, and Jewellery Doctor will select another winner.

The entrant is responsible for providing correct, up-to-date details when entering or when contacted about winning the competition. Jewellery Doctor cannot be held accountable for winners failing to supply accurate information, affecting prize acceptance or prize delivery.

Jewellery Doctor reserves the right to verify winners, ask for proof of identity, age and address, and withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions.

Jewellery Doctor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it deems to violate these terms and conditions or the spirit of the competition. Any attempts to bypass the entry process or entry instructions by any means will result in disqualification, and any prize awarded will be void.

Data Protection

Any personal information that entrants share with Jewellery Doctor will be kept secure and only used in line with these terms and conditions unless the entrant has opted into future marketing from Jewellery Doctor.

By submitting personal details, the competition entrant agrees to Jewellery Doctor processing those details in line with Jewellery Doctor's privacy policy.

Jewellery Doctor shall comply with all applicable requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation, any successor legislation or other applicable law.
